Before

1941 / 42 Silvertone Radio

This is what the radio looked like when I first picked it up: no major damage, but lots of dings and scratches. The finish was also starting to wear away in different parts.

I removed all the parts and sanded the whole exterior, touched up the scratches instead of refinishing the whole unit.

After

I retrofitted the radio with a 1/4" jack and a 1/8" jack that will accept a computer, mp3 player or smart phone that will play through the radio.

The wires need to be checked and capacitors replaced
