Canvas Stretching  / Gallery Wrap

      Canvas stretching is a common practice in picture framing. 

• Many reproductions are printed on canvas and need to be stretched in order to be displayed.
• Gallery wrap is a method of stretching  so some of the image shows on the sides of the painting
• Older art on canvas can become loose over time and need to be re-stretched.
